Below are the Terms and conditions of The Joyful Gift Company’s website. Please be advised that we reserve the right to update/change/alter our terms and conditions without notice at anytime. SHIPPING AND TIMEFRAMES

The Joyful Gift Company will always endeavour to deliver each order in the specified time frames.

There are various delivery time frames and methods depending on where you are sending you Thoughtful Box of Joy to.

As for the different delivery methods they are noted below:

 

PERTH METRO

 

PRIVATE COURIER

If your box is being sent within the Perth Metro Area, it will likely be delivered by one of The Joyful Gift Company’s very own couriers between 8:00am awst and 7:00pm awst the next business day after ordering (or on occasion, the very same day) or a specified date if selected.

Note: We deliver Monday – Friday only and not on Weekends or Public Holidays. If you require same day, weekend or Public Holiday delivery please send us an email to see if we can accommodate.  If the recipient is not home/available to receive their Gift Box we will leave it in the safest place possible. If this is not possible, we will leave a card to arrange re delivery, this may incur a re delivery fee of $10.

 

AUSTRALIA POST (Express Post)

If on the odd occasion our courier/s are booked up and can not make your delivery within the time frame we will send your Thoughtful Box of Joy via Australia Post’s Express Post service where you will receive a tracking number via email. The time frame provided by Australia Post for this service is 1 business day.

Note:  All orders received by 12pm awst (Monday-Friday provided they are not Public Holidays) will be dispatched same day to Australia Post, Any orders received after 12pm awst (Monday – Friday) or on Weekends will be dispatched to Australia Post the following business day.  If the recipient is not home/available to receive their delivery Australia Post will leave the package in a place out of sight from the street and out of the weather, if this is not possible, they will leave a card for collection from the Post Office.

If you are unsure if your nominated delivery address falls into the Perth Metro Area, please send us an email so we can confirm.

 

OUTSIDE PERTH METRO

If your Thoughtful Box of Joy is being sent outside of the Perth Metro area it will likely be sent via Australia Posts’ Parcel Post service where you will be sent a tracking number via email.  In some WA cases the order may still be sent via Australia Post’s Express Post Service.

Note: All orders received by 12pm awst (Monday-Friday provided they are not Public Holidays) will be dispatched same day to Australia post and any orders received after 12pm awst (Monday – Friday) or on Weekends will be dispatched to Australia Post the following business day. If the recipient is not home/available to receive their delivery Australia Post will leave the package in a place out of sight from the street and out of the weather, if this is not possible, they will leave a card for collection from the Post Office.

  • All items that are posted via Australia Post will be posted inside appropriately sized shipping cartons to protect from damage
  • In-case of the unusual event that a parcel cannot be delivered to the nominated recipient and is returned to us a re delivery fee of $30 may apply
  • The Joyful Gift Company can not be held accountable for events outside of it’s control which may impact the delivery of your Gift Box such as, but not limited to: Man made or Natural disasters

 

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

By placing an order with The Joyful Gift Company, you are also agreeing to allowing our Couriers or Australia Post authority to leave the delivery at the nominated address.

The Joyful Gift Company Couriers will do everything they can to ensure that the delivery is left in a safe and discreet place out of the weather ready for the recipient to collect, if they are unable to do so due to weather, security or access concerns they will leave a card to arrange re delivery which may incur a fee of $10. In some courier cases our courier will likely make contact with the purchase via phone if there are any delivery issues.

The Joyful Gift Company nor Australia Post cannot be held responsible for the parcel once it has been left at the nominated delivery destination.

 

RETURNS / EXCHANGES / DAMAGES

The Joyful Gift Company does it’s best to ensure that their customers are happy with the products they have purchased however, we do not cater for change of mind exchanges or returns.

In the odd event that something has been damaged during the delivery process please contact The Joyful Gift Company via email at hello@thejoyfulgiftcompany.com.au explaining the damage along with a picture of the damaged item within 48hours of delivery. We will then get back to you with an appropriate solution. The Joyful Gift Company ensures that all items are intact upon dispatch but understand that on occasion items may be damaged while in transit.

 

CANCELLATIONS

As the team at The Joyful Gift Company pack their orders shortly after being received it is sometimes difficult to cancel an order.

If you REALLY need to cancel your order this must be done so within 1 hour of placing the order. Please contact The Joyful Gift Company via email at hello@thejoyfulgiftcompany.com.au , mark your email as URGENT and we will do our best to provide an appropriate solution.

 

REFUNDS

Refunds will not be given for change of mind or late delivery.

Our boxes are very personalised so it is expect that thought has been put into the order.

We also endeavour to deliver all orders in the time frame as specified.

If your box or items inside are damaged and you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact us at hello@thejoyfulgiftcompany.com.au with photos 24 hours after delivery and a detailed explanation.

We will do our best to rectify the situation by replacing or refunding at our cost.

We ensure that all of our boxes and contents are in excellent condition and packaged adequately before shipping. However for orders delivered by Australia Post we cannot guarantee the way they are handled.

 

ALCOHOL

As some of The Joyful Gift Company’s Gift Boxes include alcohol please be made aware that you (the purchaser) and the ultimate recipient MUST be over the age of 18 to purchase these items. By clicking ‘I Agree’ at the checkout you are confirming that yourself and the ultimate recipient are over the age of 18. The purchaser accepts that it is an offence to falsely represent they are of legal age to purchase alcohol and to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person who is under 18 years.

 

AMENDMENTS

As the team at The Joyful Gift Company pack their orders shortly after being received it is sometimes difficult to make amendments to an order.

The Joyful Gift Company offers many ways to customise every order, if you forget to add an item or need to change the message on your personalised card please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order via email at hello@thejoyfulgiftcompany.com.au , mark your email as URGENT and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

 

RE DELIVERY

Although re delivery is rarely required as The Joyful Gift Company does all it can to ensure safe delivery of your Thoughtful Box of Joy, it is sometimes necessary due to incorrect address being provided or a number of other reasons. If re delivery is required, we will notify the purchaser and the re delivery fee of $10 (for Perth Metro) to $30 (for outside Perth Metro) may be charged to the original credit card that the purchase was made under.

 

COPYRIGHT

All content on this website is for the sole use of The Joyful Gift Company as is not to be copied.

 

PRIVACY

All customer information The Joyful Gift Company receives is strictly confidential and is not shared with any third party and will only use them for the purpose of which you provide them and for marketing purposes.

 

GST AND CURRENCY

All prices displayed on The Joyful Gift Company’s website are in Australian dollars (AUD). The Joyful Gift Company is not currently registered for GST (goods and services Tax). Therefore, at this time are not required to charge GST.

 

PRIZES, GIVEAWAYS AND COMPETITIONS

The Joyful Gift Company’s Prizes, Giveaways and Competitions are all subject to the terms and conditions that are displayed when being offered.

All Prizes, Giveaways and Competitions advertised on the Social Media platforms and/or website of The Joyful Gift Company are subject to the Joyful Gift Company reserving the right to:

  1. Change the timing of the delivery of the Giveaway or Prize.
  2. Withdraw the offer without notice

The Joyful Gift Company can not be held liable for any loss of income/profits or damage/s as a direct result of the withdrawal of a prize.
